Memorandum of Understanding between the Vietnam Academy for Water Resources and Deltares Institution, Netherlands

October 28th, 2015, Vietnam Academy for Water Resources signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Deltares Institution, a reputable research institution in the field of irrigation and the environment of the Netherlands.

The two sides agreed to cooperate in areas, including: water resources management, water quality and flood prevention solutions. The two sides also agreed to exchange information on technical scientific, experience and research products, jointly seek financial resources to implement activities under the MoU. This document has opened up a new cooperation, new potential partner in the field of water resources management, water quality and flood control. VAWR side also committed to support and cooperate with Deltares in research and seeking opportunities to develop markets in the Southeast Asian countries.

The duration of the MoU is 3 years from the signing date, then the two sides can renew or apply a higher form of cooperation.
